If $30 is too high for you, don't buy it, but don't think you're entitled to rip the music either. When you buy a game, you're not buying the music. The music is arranged into chronological order, probably given proper names.c. They may be remastered to be of higher quality than the music used within the game. Alot of the music of the music in the game has a 'hollowed' out feeling to them - this may be fixed with the soundtrack release, resulting in a better listening experience.d.

You encourage MORE complete soundtrack releases for western games. The Japanese are way ahead of us on this one. If you can't afford it right now, that's fine. Money is hard to come by, especially with that economy.

But the composers need to eat as well. So, if you enjoy the music, and if you can afford it, you should buy it. Just as you want to support Beth Soft by buying Skyrim, if you feel Soule deserves your money you should buy the soundtrack when you can.Now, I wasn't targeting you specifically with my reply - I don't know why Reddit did. I often have discussions with my friends on mastering - their complaints go whoosh right over my head. I always rip my cds as.mp3s, not as FLAC like an audiophile would. But after a few times listening to a rip of the game I noticed there was something off from the chorus and percussion. Maybe it's because I listen to alot of orchestral music in general, but the mastering of the in game files did not sound right to me.So, if I of all people could notice something was off, I can only imagine what other people would notice. So, you could very well notice the differ.
