And I miss ‘traditional’ Steinberg-style DAWs (though not Cubase itself, mainly Cakewalk Pro Audio/Sonar) but not enough to go back to one.It’s basically familiarity, character, how it lends itself to knocking up an idea and experimenting. I also like how I’m going at whatever I do from a different angle to a lot of my musician friends, who all have Macbooks with Live and a meticulously curated library of sounds.
